Fire evacuation and de-brief
A practical session of a full scale evacuation of the building/s under complete control of the fire warden system is carried out under supervision and in accordance with AS 3745-2010. Observers are placed at strategic points to assist in the de-brief session. Following the evacuation, a de-brief of the wardens is carried out utilising the “Experiential learning” method. A full detailed report is then prepared, utilising the results of the de-brief session, with recommendations for any remedial issues that may arise. This program is always tailored to meet your company’s particular needs.
Fire plan drawings
- Utilising architects plan drawings, we can oversee or project-manage the production of fire plan drawings in relation to your new builds, alterations, extensions or refurbishments.
- Plan drawings produced, for posting alongside the fire control points and to aid evacuation.
Fire safety engineering solutions
- “Alternative” fire safety solutions, to the Australian Building Codes “Deemed-to-satisfy” provisions, engineered to produce cost effectiveness and practical efficiency in new builds, alterations, extensions and refurbishments.
- Compliance issues for costly upgrading of fire safety additions to your building. We can, in most cases, engineer an acceptable alternative solution to this potential area of cost, as well.
Fire safety management in bush fire prone zones
As a safety and cost conscious building owner or occupier, estate & facilities management and building planning in danger areas must always be of a paramount concern. This is of course true not only in your own interest, but also to the Local, State and Federal Authorities; and your insurer!! You therefore need to know about asset protection and how to carry out effective hazard reduction that could protect the on-going livelihood of your business.
We will carry out an assessment of your surroundings and, through a written report, recommend any necessary remedial attention that you may need to introduce or initiate. We will also highlight any assistance that you may be entitled to receive from local authorities to help you to achieve this.
